| Rutger Barendse lives in Balen, Belgium. He works as a flora-researcher for various authorities since 1997, currently with the Dutch province Noord-Brabant. He works as a flora volunteer with the Dutch organisation FLORON and currently with the Belgian FLO.WER. He is very active in making pictures of plants, mammals and in particular mouses for several years. He specialises in alien flora, which gives him the opportunity to find new locations in the distribution range of these plants. He often goes to interesting locations such as Krete, Cyprus and La Palma, where many plants can be photographed. |
