Luc Hoogenstein
As a schoolboy Luc Hoogenstein (1970) became interested in nature and joined therefore the Nederlandse Jeugdbond voor Natuurstudfie (Dutch Youth Organisation for Nature Studies). In 1996, he graduated as a biologist at Wageningen University. His specialisation was ecology and rural planning. Currently, Luc works as an ecology consultant at Tauw, which is an independent, Dutch consulting and engineering company, active in and outside the Netherlands. His interest includes environmental impact assessment
studies and nature development projects. When it is possible, Luc takes every opportunity to visit nature areas for watching and photographing birds, mammals and all other living creatures. He does not restrict himself to the Netherlands, but visited also Scotland, Poland, Spain, Cyprus, Italy, the USA, Egypt, South Africa, The Gambia and Costa Rica.
