| Jip Binsbergen was born in 1953 and lives currently in Amsterdam. He studied biology and specialised on the distribution of North Atlantic Seabirds. He studied these birds during expeditions to Svalbard, Iceland and Arctic Canada. In 2002 he visited Antarctica and sailed back to the Netherlands. His working place is the Artis Library in Amsterdam. He likes undisturbed open places; his hobbies are hiking and birdwatching. |
