| Jelle van Dijk is a teacher in mathematics at a secondary school in Nieuw-Vennep, The Netherlands. In co-operation with friends he published books dealing with the birds and wild flowers of the Bulbdistrict in the western part of Holland. During his trips to France, Spain, Switzerland and Hungary he takes a special interest in the birds and the vegetation of dry areas like the semi-deserts of Spain, the Rhône-valley in Switzerland and the Hortobagy-plain in Hungary. |
