How can you benefit from the Saxifraga-Biodiversity Network? Saxifraga's main goal is to build up a slide collection which covers all of European biodiversity. This of course is only possible with massive support  of nature photographers from all over Europe. Such a slide collection will be important from a natural scientific point of view. But  it will also serve another purpose: many organisations in the field of nature protection do not have  the funds to buy illustration material  for their publications from commercial  companies. If this is the case, the Saxifraga Foundation can provide them with copies of slides free of charge. The quality of these copies is excellent.
