| Harrie van Loon is a retired technician from PTT, the Dutch Telephone Company. He is a specialist in European vascular plants. He took many pictures of plants and landscapes in Belgium, Austria, Norway, Italy, Germany, France, and Switzerland. All his slides are recently included in the Saxifraga Collection. Last years, he focussed on a herbarium of European plant species. For many years, he did volunteer work in nature reserves of Brabants Landschap and Natuurmonumenten, two nature protection organisations in the Netherlands. |
