| The slide-collection of Gerard Ouweneel is the result of almost fourty years of photographing. He started with making slides in the Netherlands, mainly in the Dutch delta. Afterwards Ouweneel travelled around Europe, especially in the nothern and eastern countries. From 1980 onwards he visited all the worlds' continents, including Antarctica. Ouweneel made four trips through Siberia and two through Kazachstan. Other destinations include Japan, Hong Kong, Myanmar, India, the Middle East, Uganda, Namibia, South Africa, Argentina and Peru. Birds, mammals and landscapes take the most important part of the slide-collection. |
