Adriaan Dijksen (born in 1946) works for the State Forest Service in the visitor centre part of EcoMare on Texel. He is an active birdwatcher and has published several books about birds and nature on Texel.
Despite the fact that he lives his whole life on the island (his birth ground), he likes to travel with his wife (see Sytske Dijksen) all over the world. In the first place he tries to make pictures of birds, but also other wildlife, scenery and types of vegetation are photographed. As a dedicated conservationist he is also interested in nature conservation and the use of land in the visited countries. |
