Currently, Aad van Gelswijk works as a 'staff member for nature policy' at the Directie Zuid of the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Nature Management and Fishery. His most important task is to give concrete form to the Ecological Main Structure in the Provinces Noord-Brabant and Limburg. In praxis, this means that he has to stimulate and judge the purchase of land on behalf of natural development and establishment of reserves.
His contribution to the Saxifraga Collection consists mainly of photographs of landscapes and plants from the French Alps. |
