| Jan Jansen obtained his PhD in Ecology and is a passionate photographer of flora, fauna, Natura 2000 habitats and landscapes. He wrote a nature guide about the Serra da Estrela (Portugal) in which over 450 of his photographs on species and biotopes were published. His collection mainly covers Crete, Canary Islands, Netherlands and Portugal. He is guest at Radboud University, owner of Pan & Demeter Ecologisch Advies, board member of Hortus Nijmegen, member of the European Vegetation Classification Committee, member of Estrela Aspiring Geoparks UNESCO and member of the team Red List of Portugal. |
